About
UDA Architects is a broadly experienced general practice architecture firm providing specialized aviation facilities design/planning services within the United States.
Or so say our clients:
How We Work
Every project starts by understanding a client’s goals. This includes identifying client expectations, priorities, budgets, and schedule. UDA understands that past solutions for similar project types can inform current work but that listening, asking questions and vetting key issues with the owner prior to beginning the design process are the primary vehicles for project success. All projects share similar attributes related to budget, schedule, design, brand enhancement, employee satisfaction, user experience, future growth, etc., but it is identifying the prioritization and weight of these issues on each project that makes them unique. UDA’s specialty is drilling down through the various issues, options, and priorities of each project to create a solution that is the best fit for each client.

Kevin Uniacke, AIA, LEED AP
Kevin Uniacke is Principal-in-Charge, CEO, and senior project manager at UDA.
His 30+ years of experience in planning, design, bidding, and construction administration have informed the foundation of UDA’s philosophies, values, and process. He believes the best way to keep projects on schedule, on budget, and on brand is to develop a strategic plan in coordination with the owner before any design work begins.
This philosophy is why every UDA project includes pre-design diligence that explores and identifies client goals, existing site conditions, regulatory hurdles, and potential development schedule and budget constraints.
For nearly 20 years of his 30+/-year career, Kevin has maintained a unique specialty in aviation facilities planning and design. He has worked with various corporate flight departments, OEMs, FBOs, and commercial carriers in addition to airport authorities. He’s familiar with the operational requirements for a wide variety of aircraft types and the facilities required to support those aircraft and their crews.
When he’s not solving architectural challenges for his clients, Kevin loves to travel, run, and spend time with family.

Tim Fitzroy
Tim Fitzroy has been a Project Manager for a variety of Massachusetts firms for over two decades. His experience spans both new-build and renovation projects for a wide variety of commercial clients. Tim is a true project manager comfortable with all phases of a project from site selection through punch list closeout and typically sees his projects through from beginning to end.
Tim is also a specialist in automotive dealership design and construction—having directed over a dozen dealership projects in the last decade (both custom-designed and corporate branded roll-outs). And his experience with dozens of Verizon projects—from building additions to switch facilities to emergency generator facilities—makes him a great fit for projects with tight schedules, cross-contractor collaboration, and sensitive equipment.
When he’s not managing his clients’ latest project or solving the challenges of a unique building detail, you’ll find Tim coaching his kid’s sports teams, cheering on the Patriots, and enjoying craft beer.

Corinne (Cori) Spitzer, AIA
Cori Spitzer has gained experience at UDA as a project manager over the last 8 years working on everything from small fit-out projects to multimillion-dollar developments. She has become indispensable to the clients that work with her who value her experience and talent for getting all parts of a project team to work together. Cori originally came to UDA from the construction industry both designing and constructing housing in Boston. That valuable understanding of the construction process from the contractor’s perspective provides her with a unique skillset when working in the field.
When she’s not helping clients identify strategic goals, Cori loves to watch movies and hang out with her dogs.
